Pt I respectfully disagree. I am an independent. Obama was a centrist and lets face it the first black man to be elected president cannot afford to be too bold. IMHO he was far too accomadating and it didn't help his cause. Hillary,who was not a good candidate didn't appeal to the rural voters and I can understand why Trump was more appealing to them. This was confirmed in post election interviews. The ordinary Joe residing in rural america probably thought they had nothing to lose voting for 45. Here is my biggest problem. Trump is an autocrat.Clearly that is why he identifies so strongly with strongmen dictators. Trump, who got 5 deferrments for Vietnam is going to have a military parade to honor himself not the military. Mueller saw combat in Vietnam and earned at least 1 purple heart. Here is an honorable guy who fought for our country who is constantly being maligned.

Rich, no worries. i respect your opinion. Trump won 30 of 50 states, and the reason he did is because as you say fly over states were not getting any attention. but imo also because those people in those 30 states looked at a guy like obama and saw him as a foreigner. we see him as an America hater. you might not agree--but that is much of the reason Trump got elected. the first two things obama did after being president is hang out with richard branson and prince harry....what says i am an american more than that??? either way, things are getting better--much better--and at some point the far left will have to admit the new guy isnt so bad afterall !

so pt you form an opinion because you think Obama HUNG OUT with whoever , that makes him un-American, I think youre demented . again PT , take a gander at the SP 500 chart , weekly or monthly, from 2009 to 2016, you cant deny it my man, the nations economy was booming despite what fox and righties say. when the market inclines up , corporations are having good earnings, the economy is booming again despite what you deplorables say. are you enough of an economist to refute that the booming now is simply a continuation of Obama . at least Obama didn't have a worn porn star as a companion

how trump, no one credits right wing radio and fox for trumps victory, right radio makes up 90% of all political talk shows , and they aint journalists, radio "entertainers" are not held to any standard of truth, see alex jones who admitted in court he was a liar, the rest from limbau to Hannity, beck, savage and on and on...that and kochmoney which amounts to around 400 million per year, it bends the will. its my contention
that with the demise of newspapers , the right will have unencumbered bent to the rich. after all who moved the jobs overseas, who caused the sub prime crisis, who starts and fuels wars, who stops universal health care, the rich , why to get richer. you Pt are an uneducated tool !

Klynn, it is women like you that make the country more divisive. yes, if you just finished being president of the US and you prefer to hang out with non Americans...um, sort of matters. you can like obama but he was anything but an American. in fact, obama hates us real Americans.
