Graf, it was so so bizarre.this morning the market was showing up, but I was looking at the etf's i had on my screen...LABD up, gold down. things you wouldnt expect to see when the market is up right now. as it turns out it flashed down..almost immediately. I thought i was drunk and seeing things.

Mac, i wasnt saying the bottom is gonna fall out. It would just make normal sense that we test the low from last week again, from a price action standpoint.

@mac, no worries. lately this market has been a bit schizophrenic. the charts still work and make sense but i certainly have had to increase my dosage of Lisinopril until price action gets to where i thought it was going.

One idea might check the " Market goes to hell in a hand basket Symlist" once a day after the close. When they start moving up to me the market isn't far off from taking a dump. One can see that while people are selling into fear one can make some money by being bearish.

indeed. I still think we are heading back down soon. maybe not tomorrow but lets put it this way...i am watching the vix.

Pthomas - I watched Ira Epstein's End of the Day Financial video and he showed on the daily that the VIX closed right at the 18MA. He stated that he does not think it going to blow right through it. We'll see.

Dave, thanks. I did watch one of Ira's videos and like his thinking. I more just find it interesting....how different scenarios might play out. Ive set an alert for SPY 271.30, as the level it should top out at before heading down. at the very least might be a good vix entry.
