R U hiding?
I know you sold most of your stocks (I think you did).
Please don't be mad at me ... if you sold because of my posts.
We'll get another chance to buy back in cheap.
I just don't know when.

Hi karennma,
I'm not hiding. I'm taking my time to re-learn, and enjoying it.
I'm not mad at you at all. I thought I disappointed you for not being of more help.
Happy investing. Thanks for checking in.

Why I don't trade ...
https://ekcsrya.stockfetcher.com/forums/General-Discussion/NVDA/138936

NVDA - @$400

Plenty of stocks to just sit on your @$$ and do nothing ... or find another hobby.

$AMZN is another.
Sad, I actually "traded" that one UNDER $1000/share.
Lots of work and pointless trading.

Would've been better off just holding.
Another "sit on your @$$" and (in my case) go knit a scarf.

hi karennma,

There is a saying that there is always a bull market somewhere.

I am re-reading my collection of sF posts and there is always something to re-lern.
For example, using high RSI(2), we could make a good guess of the short-term
market downturn today Jul 7, 2020

In this forum, you've been a very well liked member over the years. A few sF giants
gifted you with their secrets. Well done. If you no longer remember what those
gifts were, it may be a good idea to re-read your own stuff.

Have fun

Karen and Cheese.
I couldn't agree more with your view,
Many times I have reviewed my trades, and realized I would have been better served just holding.
Back in the day, I would average 10-15 trades a week.
It was exhausting keeping up with it.
As I have gotten older, my trading has been reduced greatly.
Would rather buy well researched growth companies, and sit on them for awhile.
Good luck
Robert

Robert,

Your solid niche expertise and your well researched vaiue investment style
should make you the next generation Buffett,
especially when you already seem to have
a disciplined control of money management and loss aversion.

Don't fall in love with any company, technology or stock.

Good luck.

==========================================

Exactly!
Too much "hocus-pocus" and too much work!
About 3 years ago, I knew something was wrong when my accountant started giving me weird stares.
One day, I asked him why he was charging me less to do my taxes.
He had this "deer in the headlights" look on his face and very cautiously said, "well, you've lost a lot of money".
I realized he was being ... "polite" ...

SMH ...

@ kossvet,
The other thing that is currently bothering me is, I've been following the analysts who post the technicals ...
"Technically" they're so bearish ... but what's the point? Technicals don't matter with Fed infusions.
If you're keeping up with everything (virus, business shutdowns, jobs (See my post about BOSSANOVA at WMT), this is an ... for lack of a better word, a dystopian reality.
Everyday I just SMH ...
Please see Senator/Dr. Scott Jensen's video.
I've had a LOT of time to think about things.
I'm surrounded by so many sheeple, reality is worrying me ...

I was trying to find the post where I ridiculed "FOUR" for looking at TSLA when it was cheap.
Here's some sad-ass $#*+ that I found ...
Pathetic!

@marine,
There's a lot of merit to the Turtle method. Clearly, had I just "held" NFLX & TSLA when I first started buying @ $58.oo, I'd be "sitting pretty" right now.
Unfortunately, my trading psyche has reversed on me in the last 10 years.
Many years ago, I'd hold & hold & hold a stock, and was afraid to sell.
NOW, I buy & sell (take profits ASAP), and stay in cash most of the time, because I'm afraid to hold.
