6/27/2020 12:40:56 PM Also, back to my real estate comment ... I live in a major city ... so, going into town is referred to as "downtown". "Downtown" is now dead. Most of the offices are vacant because I suppose employees are working from home. With no workers commuting, the retail stores and restaurants will suffer. "Downtown" is gonna look like a ghost town ... So, more empty commercial RE buildings ... I suppose AMZN could open facilities here and have a bunch of warehouses ... OR .. convert everything to "multi-use" space, where living space is also shopping space. The "mall" for shopping is downstairs and the "condos" or apts. are upstairs. There is actually a building within walking distance of my house like that. |

6/27/2020 2:26:49 PM My dentist and some of my friends made their fortune like that. Their businesses or offices are at street level, and they live upstairs. My hairdressers put their children through university and medical school with a hole in the wall hair salon like that. They own the properties. |

"We've tested a number of these kinase inhibitors and some are better than remdesivir," said Nevan Krogan While remdesivir has yet to be approved for use against COVID-19, U.S. regulators are allowing "emergency use" of the drug in hospitalized patients. Dr Nevan Krogan said tests of kinase inhibitors showed some, including Gilteritnib and Ralimetinib, required lower concentrations than remdesivir in order to kill off 50% of the virus. _____________________________________________________________________ Dr. David Fajgenbaum, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine feels particularly elated about a recent United Kingdom-based study on the steroid dexamethasone. The study garnered headlines for its result showing that a low-dose 10-day regimen of the drug could reduce the risk of death by a third among hospitalized patients requiring ventilation. It's a cheap repurposed drug that's been around for 60 years. 6/28/2020 10:12:20 AM This is JMHO (and no offense) ....Is there a correlation between eugenics and the stock market? Hmmmm .... A short-term rally? -- Yes. A sustained bull market? -- No. Vaccines that kill blacks, browns and old people? Nope. Sorry. I'm NOT participating in that. SMH ... Only peeps making major money on creating that kind of "perfect world" are Bill and Melinda Gates. Edit: Adding caveat - Again, I could be wrong ... JMHO ... |

6/28/2020 11:56:02 AM No offense taken. Yes, short-term rally. Medium-term weakness. JMHO and wild guesses. Many old people will still die with covid19 because of pre-existing conditions and because with covid-19 many patients could lose 40% of body mass. JMHO also |

If you have a "compromised immune system", you're dead (no pun intended). I heard on the news a few weeks ago, some 16 yr. old boy died of covid. Well, he weighed 300 lbs. and was diabetic. I don't mean to sound "mean", but for anyone (regardless of age) who is diabetic or obese, losing weight would be good fortune for them. Just stay home; stay off the pizza and ventilators. Most people are dying "with" covid antibodies, not OF it. Why have covid test stats recently gone up all of a sudden (especially among younger people)? Because most people have covid antibodies but are asymptomatic. I was sick as a dog 4 months ago ... You know what the Dr.'s ass't told me on the phone? Quote: "You can't come in here. Just stay home." BEST advice they could've given me. * I assume you meant "body mass", not muscle mass. |
