AMZN....Yesterday I was looking at Time and Sales over 1000 shares and it was being dumped, had a feeling they were up to no good...hope no one got terribly hurt holding this. It's an awesome stock to trade.

RUMOR out that numbers were leaked AFTER 12 noon after the $40 rally, which is why there was a slump in the afternoon.

Well hells, bells. Well $842.47 was my entry point- Now lets see where support happens. My bet is 17% correction $860 $880 area before its over then another rebound on the long term chart-

I think I will go all cash tomorrow and live to fight another day no matter where I get out!
I can't for the life of me sit and watch profits slip away wishing and waiting.
Unless this drops below $842 tomorrow I will still make a profit. It may just be 9 shares .
Lesson-
Remember to never play earnings while price is hitting new highs into earnings.

F-A-N-G-s are down.
Looks like everyone's left for the Hamptons.
@ Mac,
That's the way it goes usually ... a big run-up means ... down at the end of the day and vice versa.
But, don't beat yourself up. You weren't daytrading AMZN, you were holding it and you did well.
This is the end of July and typically things correct in August. In fact, rumors abound re: a big correction in August.
I see AMZN hasn't dropped this morning like the rest of the FANGS.
AMZN is such a strong stock.
I bot GOOG. I'm gonna get hit hard today. And if there's a big correction in August, I'll have to go work at WMT.

Speaking of "holding" ...
I think for those of us who prefer "holding", my main concern at this time is bubble mania.
I've stated that I am always fearful.
I just hope the bubble doesn't pop when I've still got these stocks.
I'm at the point now where as soon as I buy a stock, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF IT.
Thus, I inadvertently end up daytrading.
