Karen, are you a swing or day trader on TSLA?
============================================
@ marine2,
Mostly day, occasional swing. My trades are based on my sell target -- nothing else.
My first purchase of TSLA:

TSLA looks soooooooooo like NFLX.
Once it hit $70, there was no turning back.
Upward and onward -- to $200.oo!
.... ^^^ Original posts ^^^ ....
And to this day, I've been trading TSLA ever since!
The handwriting was on the wall, clear as day, IMHO.

Karen, for sure TSLA has been a flaming star, soaring to higher highs, and making early believers profits that made you and others very happy. Using my new and vastly improved filter I would have actions (listed below) on my buying and selling this particular stock:
Date: 11/2012 Buy @ 28
Date: 11/2012 Sell @ 34 = Profit of $4,285.71 (less commissions)
Date: 01/2013 Buy @ 34
Date: 02/2013 Sell @ 38 = Profit of $2,352.94 (less commissions)
Date: 03/2013 Buy @ 39
Date: 05/2013 Sell @ 100 = Profit of $31,282.51 (less commissions)
Date: 07/2013 Buy @ 120
Date: 09/2013 Sell @ 191 = Profit of $11,833.33 (less commissions)
Grand Total on Profits would be: $49,754.49 (less commissions)
A remarkable stock indeed, making many savy, intelligent, traders some great cash. I love stories like this. Karen, you are one of these rewarded people that saw this stock and believed in it. Bravo to you!

Sorry, I meant to add, I am using an investment of $20,000 for each of these trades. Just think if I would have used more $ towards each buy. Oh my goodness!

Using various tools in our arsenal which in my case would be a combination of slow stochastic(15,3), weekly slow stochastic(5,5), weekly macd(12,26,9), aroon oscillator(25), rsi(14), and lastly, price in relationship with ma(20) and ma(40). all at their own specific spots on the chart. Along with these said parameters I put them against a watchlist specifying only filtered stocks I find in either Fidelity or AAII web sites meeting my financial conditions. These stocks being companies showing above average balance sheets. Yes, even though our filters produce a hit on a particular stock as a buy it still doesn't mean you buy it. We the human must determine a few things in what he or she is seeing whether it is worth the risk. In my case, that stock better be ripe, juicy, with quality before I grab it. Timing and quality is paramount to my short term trading strategy.

SNTS - Nice bo on vol.
only thing concerns me about holding long into next week is the move on the VIX, bo on hourly chart. has some room.
================================================================================
I saw that VIX bo, I still didn't have the conviction to trade it over the weekend... DOW futs are down 118 right now... Forex not doing much of anything?
