Trend….I got a little look at the video before my computer froze up but I thought it was very interesting…..sounds like we look for the same “wave” analogy. Just a side note….there is an interesting and popular blog by a hedge fund manager that also relates markets and such to the environment, music, science..etc…..”Daily Speculation” by Victor Niederhoffer…..Good luck to you.

 TS,

Pure price coming at you , rather fast in this case, would be a nice
 training/ simulation/practice tool.

It would be nice to click buy/sells quickly in a large sample of stocks,
bullish and barish charts, to see how one fares.

Do you offer this, or, does anyone know where to find this type of simulation
software. I would love to play with this type of feature.

 Thanks.

 TS,

Well, we have many similarities in style. I don't carry a portfolio either nor do I do buy, hold and pray.

I try to ring the register with high probability short term trades. Ironically, I do trade my retirement account a small portion of the time but most activity is in a regular account.

I try to keep my trading time frame short as to exclude externalities .... I don't care what is going to happen a month or a year from now .... usually only interested in the next few days.

I don't use stops however, Larry Connors has a very interesting piece on them and that over time .... they actually hurt performance. I won't try to explain that here .... but statistically he has proven it.

In any event, I wish my system took less time and was more accurate .... I am spending too much of my spare time doing this.

 Well TS,

I have not had alot of luck with momentum based systems and when I have used stops they usually got triggered and then the stock moves higher ..... I've had decent luck following the system I use .....

I'd be interested in a reliable momentum based system with stops if there were one ....

 TS,

When are you going to give us some details how your momentum based strategy works? How complex is your system?
