Do you have software that downloads all your trades onto a schedule D?
If so, what do you use?

Turbo Tax does that for me (although I couldn't tell you which version of TT I'm using...you might have to go to the Premier version for that to work automatically). I give it my account log in, and it pulls and populates Schedule D without any assistance on my part.

The H&R Block software (formerly called TaxCut) does this as well. All you need to do is to have it connect to your broker (e.g., Fidelity, etc.) and it can download and import them for you.

I also now use TradeLog, which can automatically connect to IB and download and properly assign all trade types to the right categories for tax purposes.
