Hello,

Is it possible get the charts drawn in logarithmic scale? Also I was wondering if there was plans to be able to draw trendlines on the charts either via SVG or some sort of nasty java applet (I'm not too fond of applets...)?

Thanks for a great service - love the 'natural language' you guys have made.

Hi,

Thanks for great feedback! Look for the log price charts soon. We are planning to implement that feature through the filter text, so you can specify whether or not you want the log scale on.

As far as drawing trendlines and other interactive charting features, we are looking into that. We share the same feelings about applets, but are looking to provide a nice, friendly method that hopefully wont be too cumbersome.

I beg the stockfetcher team to _not_ restrict any of their services to only IE or windows through the implementation of ActiveX objects :):) Being a Linux user it completely destroy my experience of the service you are providing. I look forward to seeing logarithmic and trendline support on the future (hopefully not too distant :)

Thanks!

We will certainly keep Linux in mind with the interactive charting solution we come up with. In fact much of our regular testing and all of our development is in Linux, so keeping it looking good there is definitely a high priority for us!

We'll keep you posted as to when both the log charts and interactive features are available.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Hi,

Just a quick update. It is now possible to have log-charts on StockFetcher. In order to do this, you will need to add any of the phrases below (they all do the same) to your filters.

chart-scale is log
scale is log
scale is logarithmic

Below is an example:

Fetcher[price gained more than 10% and scale is log]

Thanks again for the feedback and suggestions!

Thank you so much for your speedy implementation. I only wish I could write software as quick as this.

Thanks again.

Minor defects seem to show up in the way the candle are drawn on pretty much all of the stocks returned from this filter.

Day Change is above 10 percent
and average volume more than 400000
and scale is log

The candles seem to be drawn down into the volume charting. I'm using Mozilla 1.0. LOK.AX gives a pretty clear example.
