Alf,

I will continue to trade from the same list for about a 1-2 months or so. It is really more like a moving list. Some come on and some fall off the list over time. It seems rotation happens in clusters though.

This is an example of my watch list http://yepher.com/stocks2.jsp

Looks like there maybe a few other interesting items there:

This one has a catchy title:
"Trading Volume: Definitions, Data Analysis, and Implications of Portfolio Theory, with Jiang Wang, Review of Financial Studies 13(2000), 257-300. "

I have a feeling you are talking about the recent TASC article about Balance of Power. I don't have the magazine handy but I seem to recall the variables he used may have been called:

moval
wrval

I will look tonight for that issue. Maybe someone else has it handy and can confirm or deny this.

Niko,

Interestingly I was doing some research on AAPL over the weekend. Here was what I came up with:

I would be interested in agreements or disagreements on this...

Go here: http://yepher.com/stockfetcher/command.html and enter "backtest" in the search box.

Cegis, and more recently TRO has done a lot good work that may provide what you are looking for.

Don't forget if you transfer the money to trade in your own account you will have the Tax burden. If you leave it in his own account he will have the tax burden and any other liabilities that may arise.

I would get a good lawyer to work out the details.
