I am a big fan of StockFetcher too. I don't spend much time in the forums anymore I do try to keep up with what everyone is saying. At some point I got really sick the way the discussions were going. I must say it does seem much better now.

There is an interesting article in Nov/Dec MIT Tech review.

Here is the article in case you are not already a registered user:

Sorry to hear the filter did not work for you..

Stockfetcher provides some nice tools for finding exactly what you are looking for. Have a look at "Day Range, Average Day Range or Day Point Range". This will give you exactly what you need to find the stocks you are looking for..

On another note, I am not sure what your purpose for finding such stocks are but I might recommend looking for narrow channels or very narrow bollinger width as another means to find what you are looking for.

I hope this helps,

Not sure if this captures exactly what you are looking for but should be close:

Day Change 2 day high is below .5 percent
and close near close 1 day ago

and volume above 100000
and close above 5

I like the new TASC link. I hope you continue to add TASC indicators there.

This is probably obvious to many but I have not figured out what the "Distribution Pie Chart" is telling me.

Is this graphing the distribution of the current search results or something else?

StockFetcher 2.0 Beta · Beta Feature Requests

Here are a few features I would like to see:

Price Chart Zoom in and out:
Please add (+) and (-) to zoom in and out for the price chart. I think (+) would increase the visible data by 10% and (-) would decrease the amount of visible data by 10%.

Graduated Histogram
Please add monthly graduation lines to the upper price histogram

Show current view amount:
The [3m], [6m], [1y], [2y] buttons are good. I would like the one that is currently being viewed to be grayed out or at least it to be indicated it is the current one being viewed.

Quick download in result set:
I would like a menu option that allows me to download the result set that is currently shown. The CSV should match the current "transpose" state.

I like the ease to switch chart types OHLC, Candle, etc. How about a points and figure selection?
