Hmm ... here is a way to give you that ... I am sure there is a better way to get the results you want ...

Fetcher[
close 6 days ago is greater than close 5 day ago
and close 5 days ago is greater than close 4 day ago
and close 4 days ago is greater than close 3 day ago
and close 3 days ago is greater than close 2 day ago
and close 2 days ago is greater than close 1 day ago
and close 1 days ago is less than close

... can you point to a chart that has the characteristics you are trying to screen for ? ... tell me the symbol, and the date you are seeing the traits you want and I'll give it a shot...

I did look at volatility and came up with this as start:

Fetcher[
RVI(14,10) is at a 30 day high and
RVI(14,10) is less than 45 and
draw RVI(14,10)

papagatorga...
Glad you found value in that screen ... I enjoy writing these when asked ... it often gives me a new slant at looking at my trades/screeens. I wished I followed that sweet stock your screen picked out for 5/24/05 HNT ($33.24) ... I saw it was ripe ... but I didn't act on it, it clsoed today at $35.75. The chart is nice !

Glad to help !

StockFetcher really does give us alot of flexibility in writing our screens... I find that the "SET" command is probably the most valuable!

One of the long time users here, Yepher, has put together a great online user guide that has always been a great help to me.. check it out !

It will help to understand what you are trying to do, if you
post your coplete screen ... but I think you may want to use:

Set{CC,COUNT(close above close 1 day ago,100)}

"todays High minus todays Low must be 1.1 times greater than its 10 days average True Range"

How about like this:

Fetcher[
set{range, High -low}
set{range11,range*1.1}
set{decaATR,ATR * 10}
range11 is greater than decaATR

No ... it would be a great upgrade if the intra-day analysis could be done, Right now it is only "end of day" data that is used.
