Anyone? I want to search for stocks where an 8 period weekly HULL Moving Average 2 days ago is greater than the 8 period weekly HMA of 1 day ago and the 8 period weekly HMA of 1 day ago is less than todays 8 period weekly HMA. Basically I want to find stocks where their 8 period weekly HMAs have changed direction from down to up. Thank you.

Thank you. I do understand all that. It's just that I see a correlation to price movement when the RSI(9) crosses above or below the 200 day slope RSI(9) and would like to incorporate that into one of my filers. Just experimental right now but I'd like to see how/if it might me useful. Maybe there isn't a way to do "show me stocks where RSI(9) crossed above 200 day slope of RSI(9)". Thanks again.

I want to find stocks where the RSI(9) crossed above 200 day slope RSI(9). This is one part of a filter I've been working on and I just can't seem to figure it out. Maybe it can't be done but if anyone knows how to do it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I can't explain why it might be a good filter but when the high 4 week high, the low 4 week low and the MA(200) are on a chart you can see how a stock might perform. I just drew them on the charts and look to how a filter could be made. Not sure when I'd enter a trade. I'm guessing I'd consider entering long or buy a call option when the 4 week low crossed above the MA(200) providing the MA(200) is positive and visa versa. Draw them on a chart for yourself and take a look to see how many of the stocks perform once the 4 week low crossed above the MA(200) and the 4 week high crossed below the MA(200) might perform. Just wanted some opinions and maybe some ideas. Thank you.

show me stocks where low 4 week low crossed above MA(200) and MA(200) > MA(200) 1 day ago

show me stocks where high 4 week high crossed below MA(200) and MA(200) < MA(200) 1 day ago

These two seem to get pretty decent results. I'd like to know if anyone could make improvements upon these. Thank you.

General Discussion · Horizontal line draw filter at .00, .25, .50 and .75 cents.

I need a horizontal line draw filter. One where a horizontal line is drawn on the chart at each price level ending (.00, .25, .50, 75 cents) using/based off the end of day/current closing price bar. If the closing price of a stock is 13.99 I would want the filter to draw a horizontal line on the chart at 13.75 and 13.00 because .99 cents is in between .75 and .00 cents, if another stock is trading at 66.13 I would want horizontal drawn at 66.00 and 66.25 because .13 cents is in between .00 and .25 cents, if another stock is trading at 44.31 I would want a horizontal line drawn at 44.25 and 44.50 because .31 cents is in between .25 and .50 cents, etc. etc. It all depends what the closing price is in cents that would determine which two horizontal lines will be drawn. Thank you.

Thanks for your post. I actually need a draw filter. One where a horizontal line is drawn on the chart at each price level ending (.00, .25, .50, 75 cents) using/based off the end of day/current closing price bar. For example if the closing price of a stock is 136.99 (AAPL). I would want the filter to draw a horizontal line on the chart at 136.75 and 137.00 because .99 cents is in between .75 and .00 cents. Let's assume another stock is trading at 66.13. I would want horizontal drawn at 66.00 and 66.50 because .13 cents is in between .00 and .25 cents. It all depends what the closing price in cents is that would determine which two horizontal line will be drawn. Thank you.

Thank you Mahkoh. This is awesome! This filter is just what I was looking for. Planning on using some kind of an option strategy here. Selling naked or a covered calls here or maybe look for a straddle opportunity. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
