10/17/2016 9:07:49 AM Great idea! We expect to have something in the next day or two that allows you to create a thread in the "Stock Picks and Trading" section and designate it is "read-only" (or author-post only.) Additionally, we are looking into supporting an author-delete option as well. While these features will be available for new threads, if there are any existing threads you would like this enabled for (again only in the Stock Picks and Trading section) please let us know and we can handle those existing threads on a case-by-case basis. Our ultimate goal is to provide a much more seamless method for entering and tracking trades via the forums, as well as an integration with other facets of StockFetcher. We hope to have more details on this in the coming days. Thank you, StockFetcher Support |

10/10/2016 12:05:00 PM This is a great idea and something we are actively looking into. We did have a couple comments/questions concerning this feature. First, we would assume the desired goal is that the author of the thread (or trading approach) would optionally post a description of the approach -- potentially including relevant filters, settings -- and then document trades as they occur. The individual trades would not be editable, or back-dated, and could be accessed in a summary form to show the overall performance of the approach. We are looking into a method to quickly enter the trades in a manner/format that allows for various display, aggregation and comparison with other approaches. A question, are you Ok with allowing other members to ask questions/provide feedback in the thread as the approach progresses? Additionally, as author of the thread, while posts/trades would be made read-only, would you want the capability to moderate/remove posts from members? I am sure we will have more questions as we continue to investigate, but please do not hesitate to post any ideas/comments you may have. Best Regards, StockFetcher Support |

5/7/2016 10:41:07 AM We apologize for not getting back to you sooner on this. It should not be a problem adding the custom Bollinger Band functions you mention. We will be looking into this early next week and will post any updates here. Thank you, StockFetcher Support |

Filter Phrases · date offset
stockfetcher msg #128082 |
4/20/2016 10:06:39 AM date offset The date offset phrase executes the current filter on a specified date in the past. The results returned mirror what you would have seen with that filter on that date. You can specify date offset as either a number of trading (not calendar) days from the current date, or through the actual date (MM/DD/YYYY). Additionally, you can also use the date offset navigation control while viewing filter results to browse historical results: ![]() Please note that date offset is a subscriber-only feature. Below is an example showing results from 10 days ago: |

Filter Exchange · CUSTOM LINEAR REGRESSION INDICATORS
stockfetcher msg #127887 |
4/7/2016 1:18:36 PM Custom Linear Regression Channels are now available as well. The syntax is as follows: CLRC Upper(Indicator, period, width, stddev flag) The period, width and stddev flag parameters match the usage from the price-based Linear Regression Channels: StockFetcher allows you to customize the width of the channel through a scaling factor. By entering a scaling factor or width of 0.50, a channel of half the normal width is created. Below is a quick example: As always if you run into any issues or have any questions, please let us know. 4/4/2016 8:15:49 AM Hi Kevin, That shouldn't be a problem. Right now we offer the Linear Regression Channels, "Indicator" and Slope. Would you like to see each of those as custom functions, or at this point do you have one(s) that are more important? Thank you, StockFetcher Support |
