ryboflavin, I was an author of thread "Can anyone beat this filter" which Koronbock mentioned and I reaaly advice you to read this thread couple of times to see that backtesting results are not the same as real life and money in your pocket, I also advise you to read my other thread "psychological problems after loose" to prevent you from same mistakes.... it's good that you don't loose money while trading.... even if backtesting results are correct there is no filter which shows stable results over and over again, may be you have 500% ROI filter, but it does'nt mean that your performance will be 500/12 months by month, you may start to trade at "bad" phase of market and you'll have sevaral consecutive looses... so decide by yourself how much money you ready to loose and don't bother until you reach this limit... and read SF forums, create you own filters, backtest them, think of filters and work, work, work...

nikoschopen, I post my filters here since it's a "Filter Exchange" board, I guess it's right... I want to share my ideas with other guys here and see what other guys may share with me... Describing my filters, I never mentioned that I make a lot of money with them, I always mention backtesting and nothing more... About "swimming in the sea of desperation"... I'm not swimming in the sea of desperation, currently I'm accumulting money from my salary to have bigger acoount to buy at least 10 different stocks at a time to have difersified portfolio .... by the way, +1.32% gain for stocks which my filter selected yesterday, I mean ILE, MTEX, DMAX, and it's without any stop loss(one stock down -6.1%)

for today this filter produced ILE, MTEX, DMAX, in most cases todays open is almost equivalent for yesterdays close, so just put "buy order" 9:30 AM, if you'll check intraday charts for those stocks you'll see that today's open is almost same as yesterday's close(on which SF filter is based), so in most cases you may consider that you buy price is the same as in SF filter(yesterday's close)....

I've created another filter based on low rsi(2) value, and it's great :)
Fetcher[price dropped more than 30 percent over last 15 days
and rsi(2) is below 1
and volume is above 50000
and price is above 1
]

Try to backtest this filter with 1-2 days holding period and no profit stop, you'll see great ROI even without any stop loss, if you'll use 1-2% stop loss then returt is amazing
