Hi jim c hill

I've run your filter, and it works fantastic! But I'm getting some major errors on date offsets. I run it with minor modifications, price .75 to 5, and I'm getting stocks dropping off after same day screening. And I also get stocks that are being added after just a few days, that never appeared before, at all, in anyway shape or form!!

If you run this filter and change the price from between .75 and 5.00, one selection has done over 300% WAVX, but it was not on the initial screen on close of business tuesday, 29 jul 03. I wish it was!! Tickers seem to drop off, and appear at random!!

Can you provide any help? Or do we have some serious flaws when backtesting filters??

Thanks for a great filter!!

i agree

You would figure with all of the stocks that go down on any particular day, you could find several!!

I'm experimenting too, with weekly filters! Unless someone has some good daily filters. I'll try and post some over the next few days

Thanks in advance

Ron

Yo Noahedwinbeach2

This is one of the best 3-5 days filter I've ever seen! And it has lots of rockets too! When you say Macd is your entry point, is this hourly our daily? And when you say you go thru 30 stocks in 10 minutes, are looking for a particular pattern, or any indicators, hourly or daily?

Please be as detailed as possible!

Thanks

Ron

I don't know why a high number of people are slamming Holy Grail? I, for one, have back tested his 30 day filter, and it is probably the best filter to date for a bull market. It produces a high number of returns, with a high percentage as well.

These filters are extremely volatile, but with tight stops, and close monitoring of the 30 minute and one hour bars at prophet.net, I've done over 30% over the last 3 weeks. Until the bear reared it's ugly head! I think he has contributed immensely to this board. I don't see awhole lot of other people volunteering information. Muddy, and a few others, along with the SF staff have been most helpful!

I'm working with the BB's, and trying to develop my own filters. But I'll ask Holy Grail, I've tryed reversing your filter to 98 like you said, but have not been getting your the BIG RED NUMBERS I know you can produce! Your help is appreciated by us new guys!

You have your supportors Holy Grail! Alot of people here do appreciate your input! I'm one of them!

Let's encourage folks, not attack!!

Good Trading

This filter back tests dynamite in a bull market. It's great! Once more, it is excellent beyond 30 days as well. Many with triple digits in 60 days or less! And it has a large percentage of big gainers, not just a few!

Yo Holy Grail
What is your best filter in a bear market? Looks like this coud be a vicious one
Thanx

Ron
