oldsmar52, congratulations on your success. Please explain your exit strategy if you did not make 2% on a trade. Did you simply set a sell order at 2% and then close the trade at the end of the week if the sell order did not trigger?

That's interesting, I made the same trade. I waited for my Hindsight Indicator to form a negative divergence with my Gordorectal Indicator. I've combined these two custom indicators into a single indicator that I call HGI. I sell it for 500 bucks and as a bonus, I throw in pixie dust and a slightly used crystal ball.

Some good quotes from Thomas Jefferson:
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."

". . . whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that, whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them right."

From 2008:
I hope we are better informed in 2012.

Totally agree with daybuck.

Contrary to previous posts, I would argue that the sheeple position would be to NOT vote. For many Americans, voting is the one thing that we CAN do to make a difference.

Yes, thanks for TRO and others ...

Currently StockFetcher does not support conditional boolean logic directly. This is due to the potentially enormous computational impact it might have on StockFetcher's servers. There are, however, some work-arounds which may accomplish any boolean logic (or/if conditions). See the following forum posts for some solutions:

This is a well documented statement from Obama in January 2001:

"The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society. And to that extent, as radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, as least as it's been interpreted, and [sic] Warren Court interpreted in the same way that, generally, the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf."

Negative civil liberties. Think hard about that.

Unfortunately, we have been traveling toward the cliff for a number of years. Obama just has his foot on the gas.

I heard someone say that we have a single party system with two faces. That may be truer than we think. There are many lemmings on both sides of the aisle. I don't believe that not voting is the answer. Voting likely is the answer. We need more of what happened in the elections of 2010.
