Anthony, you are not alone. My advice is to step back and observe.Stop trading and watch the market for a while.Put together a watch list of a few stocks that you traded with success in the past.Focus on your winning trades.Stick to what ever you were doing in the past that bought positive results.Look over your trading records to spot your weakness.Go back in with a plan.Print out a chart on every trade you take.Mark your entry, then your stop loss. The reason most people lose money trading is they can't take a loss.If you keep your downside risk low, you'll stay in the game.Try to hit "singles" every day.Start back in with small size and only increase it when your back on track.Make the adjustmentments and change your approach.Good luck,Mike.......

Can someone come up with a filter for a buy signal when (rsi)2 crosses 25 from the bottom? A good example would be QTWW...Thanks,Mike......

I really had a good laugh about milking the cows. But anyway I like to add my two cents about freeze ups,but this was rather a blow up.I remember one time I was trading a $25 stock.Yes it was liquid,no it did'nt seem volatile, and yes I was trading a listed stock over $10,something I don't do too often.Anyway I went out to lunch, came back, and the stock was at $22.50.Do the math on 1000 shares. How did I know someone was going to dump a million shares on the market while I was eating? That was an expensive lunch. The point is,always set a stop the second after you place a trade. In trading, anything can and will happen for no apparent reason.Don't get pissed off,get out.My new way of looking at a trade is using this word,"direction".If my position is not going in the right direction,I'm gone.No emotion,no problem,I'm out.And its true,if it never happened to you,you just have'nt been trading long enough......

Just read "Way of the turtle".A very good read from someone whos been there. What I got most out of the book was simple systems coupled with money management, rigid adherence to the rules, and trading in the right markets for your system to be profitable is where it's at.I also liked the epilogue where he talks about his life.Any comments?????
