Bill,
The work is Kevin's. All I did was combine two of his threads. My reasoning was that if you buy the top pick from the list on Monday the market could crash that same day and sell off all week. Rather than sitting it out until Friday I would look for other opportunities.
To avoid getting whipsawed too much I would not use the ROC cross above 0 in the stockcharts link as a hard stop. The crosses above 0 in early Oct 2010 and January 2011 were merely tests of this line, also the MA was still in a downtrend at that point.
The MA starting to move up and ROC retests 0 from above like in August 2010 and this May are more solid indications to leave the market. By the way notice the divergence between the correlation line and the ROC from early April until May.

I like simple, Four. Trying to make it so that I get a column that I can sort.
Not working.
I know that I can get this to work by adding one day ago and two days ago etc and then adding those results. But as I said,
I like simple. Does anyone know a simple solution to this?
Appreciate it.

I would like to add something from one of Kevin's other posts:
Check this link daily:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$VIX:$SPX&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&id=p72249291784
When ROC (15) is above 0 and VIX-SPX correlation is above SMA close your position (and/or go long volatility)

SF is somewhat clueless with the last three lines of your original filter

General Discussion · How do I tell SF to not draw something from my global filter?

Suppose I want to create a global filter that will add a column to show the change in % since open and I only want to show stocks that have gone up since the open.
I go to settings -> my filters and paste this
set{pct,close/open}
set{calc1,1 - pct}
set{calc2,calc1 * -100}
add column calc2
calc2 above 0
Now if I run one of my filters it will plot calc2 below the chart.
Add "do not draw calc2" in the global filter and my filters do not return any stocks
I also tried adding "do not draw calc2" in the filter I run, same result.
Anyone got a clue?

Ninja trader 7 has a buy/sell volume indicator. If you can hook it up to your broker's feed you will have real time.

Go to watch list, click on "filters" in the top row. You will see your filter list, select some and save. Now in your watchlist on the right you will see " >>" if stock and filter match.
