Yeah not a great filter but backtest shows great results if you hold for longer term.

Well, here is my own attempt at this but warning I am a newbie to coding here at stockfetcher .. I had a difficult time with the last 3 citerias regarding low of day 7,8,9 being less than close of day 6 .. I couldn't find if stockfetcher allows one to use and/or commands .. so I am using 3 scans, with

low 7 days ago < close 6 days ago
low 8 days ago < close 6 days ago and
low 9 days ago < close 6 days

Hopefully, some of the "pros" can incorporate the 3 scans into one. let me know how this plays out and I will monitor it on my end. If you are right and this system has a 90% accuracy ratio, my life would be much simpler less time consuming.

I had this in my filters and i can't remember who wrote this so i apologize to the person who wrote this see if this is what you are looking for

This is the way I did it. Then I run it with several days offset.

Stock is optionable and price < price 4 days ago and price 1 day ago < price 5 days ago and price 2 days ago < price 6 days ago and price 3 days ago < price 7 days ago and price 4 days ago < price 8 days ago and price 5 days ago < price 9 days ago and price 6 days ago < price 10 days ago and price 7 days ago < price 11 days ago and price 8 days ago < price 12 days ago and price 9 days ago < price 13 days ago and volume > 500000 and price is > 10

nikoschopen

Thank you so much! I am using the ema(13) along with the ADX. I like to use it to verify continuation of trends. As long as the ADX stays above the ema(13) uptrend seems to continue. At least that's my theory.

Again many thanks and thank you for all your great posts they are very informative

Riggs .. for your 5% DMA slope ... ran your filter but didn't see CHRD nor LVLT listed .. trying to determine why you would play some but not others .. and also for your 1 to 2 day run .. didn't see CDNA .. TRE or ONCY .. hmmmm .. used your recent filter from your last post .. could you post the filter you are running currently that gave you the picks that are missing from my filter.

BTW .. have looked at your filter and have been paper trading and it looks very promising

Just joined recently and have been using an uptrend flter that produces some very good results. This recent filter gave me ANAD last week but guess what? I was playing around with My Filters section and trying to organize the various filters and accidentally deleted this filter that I have been using. Very mad at myself.

Can anyone help with any uptrend filters that they have posted in the forum for review .. would really like to get it back and tweak it again.

Sorry new here and can't remember the exact coding .. looks like a foreign language to me so far but trying to learn

Thanks in advance for all your ideals
