HG, sadly I think I'm one of the few people that understood what you explained, it does make sense and I see how it works. Do you buy and sell during the day or buy the next day and sell at the end? Simply put, when do you buy and sell?

Your logic sounds good, can you post the full filter you are using right now?

Wow, this is actually a very nice filter, do you just buy first thing the next morning and sell a week later? Check out the 8 or 7 day offsets for this

I was getting results with the original one on some days, even when changin the price to above $5. To tell you the truth, the filter isn't too shabby after I took a good look at it. What do you use for entry and exit techniques? What time do you buy, as soon as RSI(2) crosses above RSI(3) the next day? Around a particular time? What about exit indicators, do you hold for more than a day? Thanks

This filter was created because of muddy's comment in his system's forum that a squeeze and sudden expansion of bb's sometimes indicates very strong movements. The filter was made to find these kind of movements (found in stocks like NEXM and INGN)

Fetcher[show stocks where the bollinger width(20) 3 days ago dropped between 0 and 50 percent over the last 4 days and bollinger width(20) is between 0 and 0.5 and bollinger width(20) gained between 5 and 100 percent and price is between 1 and 5 and price touched upper bollinger band(20)]

It still needs tweaking for sure, and the addition of the upper bb touch line at the end is very important, it gets rid of a large number of failures
