Union's worked to DEPRESSED WAGES ????? What planet did you and your folks live on? Unions have upgraded
the wages of workers, and set rules that huge corporations had to follow if they wanted to work other human beings !
Management at the very top level don't mind a union in their plant. Unions guarantee wage rates for the next few years
Yep, back in the Flintstone Era they performed admirably.

I was never a Union person. Always self employed. My Mom and Dad were and I saw the way Unions depressed wages through the years of watching them. Not to mention the outright graft part. Maybe Unions were necessary when the barges brought over the Europeans for Labor but certainly not now. If they only set aside that Union Dues for 50 years they would have had a nice retirement. Side Note: there are now more Government employed than in the Private Sector. Socialism is here. the USA isn't the only Big Dog in the yard now. Europe and Asia are making noise and we're making it possible for them.

The Auto Industry, the railroad and the airline industry has been on life support systems for years now. Actually the Auto Industry wasn't doing so bad till Washington and certain State Houses started telling them what type of gas they had to use. Regulation, not deregulation has screwed things up to a point where certain businesses must fail completely and new ones will rise and take their place. And please get over US domination. It is now a New World Order. We must compete. What parent in their right mind wants their kid to make shoes in a factory. Unions are nothing but pacifiers when what is really needed is the milk.

I'm self employed, Blue Cross, Pa bill came, ruined my weekend, raised to $932.00 per month for me and the wife. I'll be bagging groceries in my 90's to pay for hospitalization.

you should be able to join a Chamber of Commerce and get a decent price. I was self employed and paid about $900 per quarter. Annual dues was about $250. They offer several plans. Blue Cross generally bleeds you out. Also call your Small Business Bureau for ideas.

Good luck.

Ameritrade's accounting figures have been way off. Any one hear of a crash? Trading was ok just the account figures were nuts.

I voted for Bush but have lost all faith and credibility in him. He has protected us but now is a lost man. This latest folly of charity for the Auto Industry is a joke. It is the beginning of the end for the Industry as it is. Bush can't save the Industry. Congress certainly can't. We can't. I won't buy another American car for years till they re-organize in totality. The Government meddling in business is one of the reasons the Industry is failing.

Sure it will be a good Xmas for them but a lousy Easter. We Americans have been electing baffoons in office for decades now. Obama who is now an extension of the Clinton Machine with his key appointments will govern no better. Soon the word fillibuster will appear on the daily news and this new Admistration will get frustrated and start resembling the Bush deal. When the American People wake up from this dopey anesthesia like state things will change.

dforant1, nice work in discovering this gem. If any of us can find others like this lets put it on our forum to make some money. We all need each others finds such as this to put Christmas gifts under our tree for the Holiday.
Actually I'm kinda new here compared to others. Was losing badly in the Market till stumbling in here. TRO pushed the hell out of RDN long ago and I just have been following suit ever since with the RFR stocks and doing very well.

I have seen enough of this bailout crap already.Every bailout dollar appropriated by our government from now on,including the rest of that 700 billion, should be exacted through tax dollar for dollar the same day on the American people.

Exactly. If that were the case the American People would demand they go Bankrupt. Nuff welfare. Chapter 11 would not ruin the Auto Industry. Just make them smaller till they get their act together. GM has been losing $$ for how many years now? The Big 3 have to be disbanded. Competitive Auto Industries will pick up the slack and build anew again.

I have not seen a chart with as many opportunities since I've been here with Stock Fetcher. The Browser portion in Izone was down all day yesterday and I had to load all my buys, sells, shorts, and covers individually instead of being able to use the saved ones. Could have switched to Quote Tracker but didn't have anything set up. That chart is now a fixture on a wall in my den. Thanks to you TRO, you have given much and taken little. Listened to your interview last Nov., in Very inspiring.
