Ok, thank you for letting me know. I didn't know if sf could handle my request or not.

I am asking for help because I don't know how to phrase this. I have always liked to use MA6 and 8 crossover on the 60minute/10day and they produce some great results. I went back and looked at all my successful trades and they all followed the exact same pattern. Take a look:

Those are just some of my actual trades and then some other examples.

Do you know how to write a filter that changes the values to 60m/10d instead of daily?

Generally speaking, the best filters that I like are stockfetcher's 3 default prefabricated filters:
Narrow 45-day Channel Near Bottom
Narrow 45-day Channel Near Top
45-day increasing slope channel (this is my favorite which produces great results)

I don't know how to edit their prefabricated filters nor do I know how to write the filter so it produces results for 60m/10d.

Yes, I do see that now. at what time during market hours do you run this filter? 20 minutes after open or so or later? I probably need to go back and read the entire thread.

Well, now 6 years later and still no profit...ever...just losses. So I am taking a look at this filter again and I am curious about something. Is this filter used at end of day or during market hours? From what I can see, there seems to be quite a run for a few days.

I am about ready to just go to Edward Jones and have them invest the remainder of my money and look at 10 years from now.

I still absolutely 100% hate the new SF. Because the date offset has been removed, useless.

Not to repost the already posted, but Traderblues brought this to everyone's attention and since I think it's a crucial element of stockfetcher, I am reposting Traderblues reply so we don't have to search for it.

You can still get there. On the My Filters page, pick your filter, then over on the far right, under Options, click on Edit. Then run View Screen, and the old format is there, with the old Date Offset box.

It's not the same. It's an additional step that has be taken. Where once you could just enter 10 days and SF took you back 10 days. While you were viewing the 10 days offset, you could change it to 5 or 50 or 30 or whatever, and it was always offset from the original SF scan. I don't like the new offset feature.

Yes, that helps. Thanks. Although I have never profited from the market, I still look at your filters daily. In between the bickering and the cahoots of others, I have always found your writing abilities to be profound.

Yes, without the date offset box and seeing the past stocks, I have no use for stockfetcher at all. This critical element needs to be reinstated. I have never liked SF 2.0 but I clearly see that 1.0 is about to be eliminated.
