TheRumpledOne,
Do you realize that you are ALREADY sorting on *FOUR* columns (a1, a2, a3, and a4) when you sort on c3?
As long as your nested set{}s don't go too deep, you can sort on as many columns as you want (in theory), using the same basic method. You can even mix ascending and descending sorting between the columns. Here's an example (to show the technique, not that this is a very usable filter in and of itself...):
(Note: I divided the close by 100 because SF was having issues with large numbers. I wanted to use xpppppccccc, not xppppp.ccccc, but this still works...)

TheRumpledOne,
That should be "average volume(10)", as SF doesn't know what "avg volume(10)" is... (Per SF support posted sometime last month...)

ssmike123,
You may be thinking of the IND(<symbol>, <indicator>) function. I also think there's a "compare to <symbol>" phrase (or something similar) that will chart the symbol relative to the filter result symbol. Try looking in the User Guide or the Announcements forum. Yepher also put together a very good SF reference, too, but I don't know the URL off the top of my head. (It's been posted a gazillion times, so search the forums for it...)

TheRumpledOne,
Thanks for the credit, but it's not really necessary in cases like this. I like seeing my ideas in use! :-) I like it even better when I see someone I helped helping someone else - using my ideas or not!

Player,
Hope you don't mind me butting in here, but may I make some suggestions?
- I think you will find that there are A LOT of pretty knowledgeable people lurking around these forums, most are more than willing to help. Yes, TheRumpledOne is one of them. However, if you just ask your question without directing it to someone specific, I think you'll find you get a lot of ideas from a lot of people. And you wont be waiting for someone to get around to reading and posting.
- Whenever you can't figure out why a filter is behaving as you think it should, it usually is *not* a problem with the filter <grin>. I run into this all of the time myself. I have found that using the "add column" phrase will show me the values that SF is using, which almost always leads to the answer to the "why?" question. For your filter, if you ADD COLUMN MOMENTUM(28) 2 DAYS AGO (running today before market closes) and ADD COLUMN MA(28) 2 days ago, you will see that the momentum has not actually crossed ma as of market close last Friday for ATCT (momentum is 0.0054, and ma is 0.0067), it just looks that way on the chart because the values are so close.
