This will help weed out a lot of useless (risky) stocks from filters of low priced stocks. I've learned my lesson on OTCBB! No more. Thanks.

I'd also like help with a Stochastic filter. In the area of divergence, I'd like a filter that would show stocks where the most recent price low was below the previous price low, and the most recent low of the slow stochastic was above its previous low, with that previous (first) stochastic low occurring below 20 percent. Included should be a way to select the time span, etc. Any ideas anyone?

Re sharing:
I agree on doing it. In the market you won't lose by sharing because more will jump on the bandwagon if you have a filter that works. I'm reading all the mail and when I get confident enough and have something you guys didn't already post first, I will surely let you know about it. As of now, I'm still way behind you all. Also way behind on the size of my account, so I'm still working the penny stock region and welcome any ideas in that area.
Somewhere in all the postings I mentioned that I had bought WGAT and would let you know what it did. Well, I was in at 0.59 and out at 0.90. The big jump scared me out, I guess. The profit percent was okay, but the time wasn't. I was in too early and held it about 2.5 months. Still learning.

Ameritrade only charges a single commission for a number of partial fills, as long as they are all on the same day. Others may do this also.
How about more info on the hidden stops. What brokers, for example, have them. I've never heard of it before, but I'm sure interested. I try to keep my stops mental instead of actual since I have become very suspicious that some market makers deliberately go for stops.

Rumpled One:
You make sense. I also am going to print out your entries above so I can go over them more than once. One sure thing I have discovered after many years, and applicable to many areas of life as well as the stock market, is that there is always something new and useful to learn from someone else. Sharing ideas makes for a lot more rapid progress in any field than if you stay in your own little world and try to learn it all by yourself.

I read that the Government says unemployment is 6.1 percent. This is apparently only based on current claims. If you add in the people whose benefits have expired and are still out of work, the true rate is about 9.1 percent. Go figure!
