Thank you four.

Is there any way to make the price chart go away completely to free up that real estate?

General Discussion · I want to share my weekly options watchlist

Every week I update my weekly option watchlists directly from CBOE. I don't have the need to keep up with this and am looking for someone to take this task over. It takes about 5 minutes per week and I'll show you how.

I don't even know how to convert them to shared lists and I couldn't find the documentation.

I think I have a limit on how many symbols I can have in a list so I actually have 4 lists, 1 for etfs and 3 for equities divided alphabetically.

Anyone interested?

If it was me I would build a watch list of sector etfs and code for the weekly crossover that interests you.

I think if you go to settings -> my filters you can have them automatically emailed to you as a csv file.

Thanks.

General Discussion · Insurance company rate hikes

The problem is we don't really have health insurance. We have maintenance contracts.

Insurance is for the big stuff. Maintenance contracts cover almost everything.

Imagine what your car insurance would cost if they had to cover oil changes, wiper blades, new air in tires, etc.

The health insurance companies have to cover runny noses, dandruff, bad hair days, etc.

The states control insurance companies. Most are forced to provide all services. Don't believe me? Go try to buy a policy that only covers the big stuff, high deductible, etc. It depends on what state your in, but chances are you can't get one.

Now that you are aware of these FACTS, do you still wonder why rates keep going up?

If you could provide it cheaper, then go do it.

May people spend more on junk food and entertainment evrey month that the cost of an HMO premium.

You need to write a filter to pick out the stocks that currently fit your method, not try to force your method on those 3 stocks until the end of time.

Speaking of Cramer, I remember him telling his audience to pull everything OUT of the market right before the bottom. I'm really surprised he's not in jail.
