As a part of a strategy I am trying to figure out (more on it when its relevant) I am looking for a way to find stocks that have been touching a Whole number ($2, $56, $23, etc)

How can I set SF to show me Whole numbers as a resistance/support?

Hey guys, I went more than 110 pages back (out of 1611), to April 2016, and I didn't figure out which filter you are using for these intraday alerts.

Would anyone assist here?

Great thread!!!
I am Arik from Israel. 53 years old, married with 3 amazing kids (28, 22 and 20 yo). I am an IT specialist, currently in a small Media company. During the past 20 years I lost my job 4 times, all of them due to external reasons (recession, company shrinkage, ect) and each time I had to struggle to support my family, doing whatever job I could find, until a decent job came by.
Around 2007 a friend introduced me to the stock market. I couldn't afford putting in it any money but i got fascinated by it. BTW that friend made one stupid trade, violating all the rules, and lost 120% of his capital....
Recently, after 5 years of a steady job and income, I finally managed to put some money on the side, and made a "deal" with my wife: if I lose 33% of my capital I withdraw the rest and abandon trading. So far, 7 months in this, I am around 20% down (I still consider it Learning Curve or The Cost Of Learning).
I try to focus mainly on 1-3 days movements, and I do fairly good with Day Trading.
I learned A LOT on this forum and I still am. Thanks for all your posts, guys.

I posted this filter a few weeks ago, under this thread: http://www.stockfetcher.com/forums2/General-Discussion/I-missed-GS-and-JPM/133165/10, here I will post it again, to make more sense of it.

I tweaked a bit the filter to suit my preferences.
I doesn't bring up results each day, when it does the stock has already made a major move upwards but it continues to run in the LONG direction for a few more days (usually 1-3).
I backtested it using "offset" from December until today (27 days).

Here are the results for Dec-Jan:

Dec 1 - SGY
Dec 2 - BAK
Dec 6 - FRAN
Dec 8 - CIEN (this one didn't work)
Dec 9 - EBS
Dec 20 - ACAD (this one didn't work until a few days later)
Dec 28 - KATE
Jan 4 - BX
Jan 6 - ETRM
Jan 9 - TWOU
Jan 11 (resulted today so its not in the stats yet)) - MYOS

8 out of 10 moved up the day after showing on the filter (80%!).
I still didn't traded this filter. My guess would be to run it just before EOD and buy at close. As for exits - each one with his own strategy.

and close is between 3 and 35
and ATR(5) is above 1
and Day Change is above 0
and avgvol(30) is above 500000
set{volspike, avgvol(5)*2}
and volume > volspike

and draw eMA(3) on plot price
and draw EMA(21) on plot price
add column ATR(5)
do not draw ATR(5)
do not draw volspike
offset is 0 days

I know, each has his own trading skills, his own preferences, YMMV, "do your own research", etc.
But still, if you could name the most profitable filter, the one that worked for YOU the best, which one would it be?
