Looking for a filter that identifies when the current price pierces or closes below the low of the prior 4 week range.

Thanks ahead of time for anyone willing to share.

Kevin:

There's no variable we can code for the low between day X and day Y?

The problem is I'm looking for previous year's data (i.e. 2015), not current.

What would I use to show the high/low of the previous year? I intend to do the same for quarter and month as well.

Thanks.

What about one where the stock is currently trading UNDER the close of the most recent large volume selloff in past 120 days?

Appreciate any insight on how I can create a scan which overlays the Accumulation/Distribution line over the MACD.

I want to be able to scan for when they cross each other.

Thanks!

General Discussion · Dear Stockfetcher: Why do you not offer volume-by-price?

One of the real game changers for my trading occurred when I discovered volume-by-price (aka "Volume Profile"). It represents how volume is distributed at each price level of the chart interval you're viewing. Basically a volume distribution curve and it acts as an important road map to discovering whether something is current trading at value or too far away from value. That is different than a volume histogram which only details volume by time.

IMO charts are missing vital information about order flow without it. There are other retail charting services which offer it for viewing purposes (i.e. TC200, Stockcharts, etc), but I can't seem to find a service that allows one to actually screen for stocks based on volume profile parameters.

It would be a real game changer if you ask me. I'd be willing to pay a little more just to have it's availability. I hope one day you guys really consider offering it.
