A guy I work with, his neighbor lost his house after writing naked puts in 2000. But im sure these stories are a dime a dozen during that timeframe. ETrade will do it if you fill out their Level 4 options paperwork so that is a quick and easy way to go. Options are hard enough just doing plain old calls, puts, and spreads - I don't have the b*lls to try uncovered - although the odds are in your favor.

Arch Crawford
http://www.crawfordperspectives.com/

He was on the local KFNN network calling for a 7200 DJIA target. Seems an interesting view opposite that guy claiming a 40,000 target. Any takes on this? He seems to use astrology to make his calls. Any of you use his newsletter? Consering nothing really broke the downtrend the last 2 days, looks like it will be continuing down. Not that us DT care. But my 401k does! Cash and loving it for last 2 months.

Very few are showing up on the power list now after a wild market pullback. Best stock in the market is now CBK lol who is only 8 off the 200ma BTW. Interesting note on ANDE: major Bullpower/Bearpower divergence on this one. It has had a nice pull back and look at the power on the power chart!!!! Man that was a strong one. TIE is still around 820 on the power XPO level. This is becoming my favorite all time filter!!

Well if were talking plain old SMAs then I love the old fashioned All About Technical Indicator's Extreme XY2 which is a fancy name for 8/21 spread:
Fetcher[
/* Extreme xy2 */
set{gspvar.1, ma(8) - ma(21)}
set{gspvar.2, 0}
draw gspvar.1
draw gspvar.2 on plot gspvar.1
draw 55 day slope of gspvar.1 on plot gspvar.1
draw 55 day slope of gspvar.1 55 days ago on plot gspvar.1
draw 55 day slope of gspvar.1 110 days ago on plot gspvar.1
draw 55 day slope of gspvar.1 165 days ago on plot gspvar.1
]

Simple, sweet, and just plain awesome divergence spotter! No need to wait for any third xover. BTW ive used this for daytrading in conjunction with a 55wma with huge success. Just trade in the direction of the 55wma with tight stops and use Extreme xy2 xovers via the oscillator above for entries and exits. Just that easy.

Ok. Here she is. You can adjust the weights to taste. I tried to place importance on long term strength and short term strength. Fibonacci freaks will see some familiar numbers. Some pretty unreal stocks show up here with crazy ROI numbers for long term swing traders.

Obviously you can adjust the filter to show stocks that cross a threshold IE: xpo crossed above 700.

I would really like to draw the 13 day cma on the 100 day cma plot if anyone knows how. draw xpo13 on xpo doesn't work. But if we can figure that out I think it would give great entry/exit signals.

Any additions/comments on this filter would be welcome. Whenever I take a beating on risky long shots, I can always count on this one to bail me out long term.
