How to I filter for the following:

Less than 3% above current price and less than 3% below current price for the last 2 days

Filter Exchange · Not having any luck with a filter. Can someone please help

I am looking for stocks within a pretty tight range for at least the last 2 days. I was trying this but not getting the results I wanted:

PRICE WAS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 1 PERCENT ABOVE MA (1) FOR AT LEAST THE LAST TWO DAYS OR PRICE WAS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 1 PERCENT BELOW MA (1) FOR AT LEAST THE LAST TWO DAYS

What I am exactly looking to duplicate is finding stocks trading in a little box (on an hourly chart) for the last couple of days. If you look at the 60 minute chart of COST as of today, you will see exactly what I am looking for. Price in a tight range for at least the last two days (if there was a way to upload a screenshot I would)

Any help making this filter is appreciated

Thanks

First, thank you for the filter.

Can you tell me what some of the variables mean because I am not getting the exact results I want and I think I just need to tweak it a little bit. For example, what is the purpose of MA (5) in the filter? Also, what variable/s represent the 0-5% range (I may need to restrict that percentage to 0-2%)

Thanks

Hi, can someone help me create a filter for a tight price range.

What I am looking for is price to have been in a tight range between 0-5% above MA (1) and 0-5% below MA (1) for the last two to 7 days

Can someone assist?

Thanks

How would I create a filter for when I want the results to show price in a tight range for 2 or 3 weeks. Such as:

Price has not exceeded more than 3% above ma (20) and price has not gone more than 3% below ma (20) for the last 2 to 3 weeks?

Filter Exchange · Exclude Symlist or Do not apply to Symlist?

Thanks, but that is actually not what I am looking to do. I am looking for the syntax to exclude a list of stocks in a filter so that when I put this list within my filter, they will not come up in the results.

I know there is a way to run filters so that they only apply to a set list of stocks so I am assuming there is a way to exclude them as well.

Hi, I am looking to exclude symbols from one of my screens but can't find the right syntax. How would I exclude the following symbols (FB, APPL, TSLA, AMZN)?
