We have recently added linear regression channels to the available filters on StockFetcher. Below are some example screens:

Fetcher[Price is near the center linear regression line(45)]

Fetcher[High is more than 1 percent above the top linear regression line(60,1.25)]

Fetcher[MA(50) crossed above the center linear regression line(50) within the last 1 day]

Hi,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The third parameter is a flag indicating whether a scalar is used for determining the width of the channel, or whether a number standard deviations are used. By default the flag is set to 0, indicating that the simple scalar is used, not standard deviations. To use standard deviations, simply enter a 1 as the third parameter.

We will be sure to correct any relevant documentation with this additional information.

Thank you,

Tom

Or what makes this different from LRI?

Is there something I am missing?

ig0r51 postsmsg #27538- Ignore ig0r 7/24/2003 10:42:06 AMlri is the indicator, drawn as a line, here's description: The linear regression indicator uses the end points of successive linear regression lines to create a "moving average"-like measure. The period specifies how many days are used to compute the linear regression. the lrc draws the actual channels, the 3 lines, upper middle lower, we've been using these and lri, nothing new
