The “when” question to get out of a short term trade is to sell after a price decline of 2%. Most times than not when the stock reverses downward it usually goes past that 2% for the decline in process. You gambled on it moving upward and it didn’t respond the way your filter was telling you. Now with the general market you could go to a larger decline % maybe 5% to 7% realizing the market needs to rest briefly before making its way upward again.

With this crisis and how high our markets were any ways the 5% to 7% decline should have been everyone’s warning to lighten their load out of equities. Learning with time invested is the greatest investing tool you can have.

Just saying.

Since I am retired from Boeing I guess I could say something. Lets see over the past 10 years they bought back $160 Billion in stock, probably with low to no rate loans from the Fed. The stock price was 340 went all the way to 100 and they want a bailout like every other big business, big bank.
Eventually all this funny money has to be paid for and I am getting damn tired of fat cats getting all the bailouts and the taxpayer gets the screwing. But hey I am the one eyed man in the valley of the blind.

I wonder what happened to the other poster who was here 2 years ago who also worked for BA.

Was it "davesaint86"?

Frankly, that bailout (as I posted) was totally predictable.
The only thing that wasn't predictable was whether it would remain BA or go to BAQ.
Had it gone to BAQ, then there would've been a class action suit and the investors would've been screwed.

Mac, if you are still a paid stockcharts subscriber, could you please post
a screen print of RRG chart for XL* market sectors this past week
and the week prior?

I just want to see if RRG charts actually give paid subscribers an edge with rotation.

Many thanks for your consideration.

Why I asked: Khanh Hoang is one of the few Twitter accounts who claimed to have used
RRG for trading with some success.
