Gas broke major resistance, one of the major outperformers with gold/silver rising on unusual volume. I was looking at UGAZ intra , it was amazing the way the dip from 10:30 to 11 was bought...
DIA pulls the whole market, as SPY sets new highs with no volume whatsoever... for some reason I tend to buy UVXY with the worst possible timing...should've learned by now that the odds are a lot greater for fading volatility, rather than expecting it... oh well
p.s.
given the gas volatility i can see DGAZ losing 10-15% in next month just from volatility drag lol...

IBM looks interesting to hold for a bit. Just has hit 38.2% retracement...might be a good risk/reward opportunity.

sometimes I feel they post such articles to lower the price for institutional buying. Each week, I want to throw up when one day I read about 20% correction and another day they talk about Dow hitting 20k until New Years. Given the growing influence of social media, it does seem like someone tries to manipulate the moods of the crowd at least a little bit - and it might could be working....
All those financial websites, social websites, stocktwits stockprophets etc etc etc... all seem to be in skillful hands manipulating the general public one way or another... just feeding them with garbage analysis, news and opinions...
Definitely...I wonder what's the reasoning for this spike....

those are fun. If I could only develop some system for miners that would allow accurate entries...oh wait

So today at open I bought equal dollar amounts of NUGT and DUST. With a trailing stop of 3%.
DUST @ 47.6400
NUGT @10.2900
And got taken out @46.21 and @11.10 respectively.
Overall gain of 4.77% before commissions.
Have been thinking about this idea (not mine) for more than a year...and I still have no words to describe it...
