I don't trade this momo filter anymore, it was a great system made good money during that market environment, but as you know market is dynamic and we have to move on.
Something you can add to help this filter is having the BB40 running above ema100, trade only the stocks that have accumulated at least 5 days(more is better) between lower BB40 and above ema100.....glty
edit: Price >30
doesn't work on cheap stocks, most indicators are not reliable with cheapos.

LAMR is an example of a Booya buy. Sell signal is generated above upper BB40 this normally occurs at the open, buy signal is just before closing day.

johnpaulca: Thanks for the quick reply. I've still got about 450 Intraday Alert forum pages and 3 years worth to catch up on. A lot can happen in that time. Currently I'm just biding my time in dividend stocks. I'll continue reading and learning on this site, thanks for your contributions.

I find the market is too news driven to be holding overnight and with the booya you have to hold overnight.

AAPL($527)...this hourly shorting pattern occurs over and over but still gives grief to pull the trigger....will have to trust my JPsell indicator.

Unfortunately, I am forced to hold overnight. With an account under 25K, any day-trading-like activities are prohibited. At least that's the way it is at optionshouse. I'll just hold my INTC, LMT, NVS and COP until a short term trading strategy comes along that seems like a good fit. I'm just happy to talk stocks with someone who isn't my wife, bores her to tears.
