Out of my /si trade from a few weeks ago for a scratch. Was long /6e but out due to French election pop. Nice profit there. Went long some /pa on last Thursday at the close. Only about a 5 percent pull back but seemed to be a good set up. We shall see.

Limit order long 200 shares of TVIX at $33.25 if it goes that low. My thesis is that with this morning's massive drop in TVIX there will be a reversion back toward the mean, especially given the US Government heading for a possible shutdown of operations on Friday. Will bail on this before then, since it will almost certainly be "fixed" by passing yet another stopgap spending bill.

It's all signaling. yesterday was a signal that the world will not be taken over by populism. hence stability. Kevin, be careful about Wednesday, as Trump apparently is laying out a historic business tax plan. may effect TVIX.
Long RAD @3.85
a ton of call volume around FMSA. going to try to enter at open.

If Trump actually provides details on this, I would agree. However, I think he is just trying to create "accomplishments" within the first 100 days that really are just more of a wish list. The market will not be fooled by that (IMHO).
Example (from this mornings Marketwatch site):
"Tax-plan preview: Trump says a “big tax reform and tax reduction” announcement is coming Wednesday, but his budget director said a complete proposal probably won’t be ready until June. Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney told Fox News over the weekend that the White House will offer “specific governing principles” for its tax plan, along with indications of what new rates would be."

absolutely agree. my point really is that it is a wildcard...could go either way. we know trump will not provide a ton of detail, but just one liners on the tax cuts. however apparently the one liners are 1986 in scale.
