Occasional trade update:
I got into UNIS on Friday afternoon at 4.00 (1000 shares), only to watch it drop a few percent before closing at 3.98. I put in a profit stop at 4.15 yesterday which just got hit.
Another successful trade using my variation on Connors' RPTT system - and yes, ALF, it was the result of backtesting and optimization using Stratasearch.

Kevin, could you elaborate more on the RPTT system? Would you recommend it? Thanks....

Stalking CDTI right now - limit order entry in place at 3.15 (2000 shares).

++++++++++
The RPTT system is more of a tactical trading setup than it is a way to grow your account. Think of a sniper versus a coordinated move by a ground force. In the former case you are picking a few trades a week, and occasionally a day or two comes along where there are lots of candidates (like last week). I usually look for long-only systems that mean-revert, so the basis for Connors' systems are of interest to me.
Mostly I look for RPTT candidates that have been doing well but are suddenly down 8+%. The general rules are simple - the stock is trending upwards and above its' 200 day MA, with reasonable volume over the past 30 days or so (I use over 1,000,000 shares traded daily).
I would NOT recommend spending $1999 for the system, as it is similar to many overbought filters already posted here in the forums for free.
