Nice work, Riggs.

Fetcher[
set{HI52,days(weekly High equal high 52 week high , 100 )}
set{LO52,days(weekly Low equal Low 52 week high , 100 )}

Set{MACDDiff, MACD fast line(12,26) - MACD slow line(12,26) }

set{MACDb,days(MACDDiff is above MACDDiff 1 day ago,100)}
set{MACDa,days(MACDDiff is below MACDDiff 1 day ago,100)}
set{MACDX, MACDa - MACDb}

set{MidLx1, high 1 day ago + low 1 day ago }
set{Middle, MidLx1 / 2}

set{CMb,days(close is above middle , 100)}
set{CMa,days(close is below middle ,100)}
set{CLxMid, CMa - CMb}

MACD fast line(12,26) is below MACD slow line(12,26)
MACD fast line(12,26) has been has been increasing 1 day
MACD fast line(12,26) is converging with MACD slow line(12,26)
MACD Histogram(12,26) has been increasing the last 1-day
MACD Histogram(12,26)is below 0
60-day slope of close is above 0

close is above 20
average volume(90)is above 200000

draw MACD(12,26)
draw CLxMid

sort column 2 descending

and add column MACDX

and add column HI52
and add column LO52

and add column Middle
and add column CLxMid
]

I added the MACDX column to show number of days the MACD difference increasing/decreasing.

I added the HI52 and LO52 columns to show number of WEEKS since the 52 week high/low was made.

I added the Middle and CLxMid columns to the midpoint of yesterday's range and to show number of days the close has closed above/below the midpoint.

Still selects the exact same stocks as original filter. I just added a few bells and whistles to the display :)

One thing I noticed, when the MACD is heading north after the price close above the middle, it usually goes up at least one more day!

I was milking SNDK this week, so I checked the chart when I saw it appear on this filter and that's how I "discovered" this combo of MACD/MIDDLE.

MAY ALL YOUR FILLS BE COMPLETE.

P.S. I also turned ON the MACD chart.

Riggs as usuals excellent work.. I played around with your longer term filter and just by adding the statement "PE is between 5 and 15" narrowed the field and eliminated some of the losers.

I wish stock fetcher would gets an earnings yield function. If I could only have one piece of financial info on a company earnings yield would be it.

Being an investigative person I decided to follow up on the "histogram magic" post.

I checked the Nasdaq top % gainers list at SmallCapCenter for Friday, May 19, 2006 and found "most" of the top % gainers did not fit the MACD Fast Line(12,26) ABOVE 0 criteria.

As a matter of fact most of the top % Nasdaq gainers had the MACD Fast Line below 0.

Test the % gainers yourself;
