I agree with this 100%!
Worth polling the SF user base again, I see many swing traders having turned to day trading in this market, and intraday scanning techniques would be great for daytrading.
I would pay more for intraday scanning criteria, real time. I have Trade Ideas via Etrade Pro (Strategy Scanner), but it is hard to use for me thus far compared to the very intuitive text based scanning of SF.

Or maybe a few add banners and boxes in exchange for Realtime or close to Realtime?

I would find it tremendously helpful if there was a way to scan intraday data, doesnt need to be realtime, 15 min delay would be great, even if it was only available at the end of day.

So did the text or email alert function ever get implemented? Been looking around and havent figured out how to get that if it exists, couldnt find it in the users manual.
Gave up on the real time data for now and got an additional subscription with another service for $87 per month. But my legacy filters keep me here too lol.

tokyo i asked the same question and sf said they cannot do it. currently it is very good for swing trading but not for day trading, $87 is a lot for this kind of service.

StockFetcher: If choices need be made, I would prefer that development effort be expended in developing much greater capabilities in backtesting for entry and exit criteria....rather than "We really need REAL TIME scan, please. "

Please SF... Real time is needed... please focus on that....
SF is a mature product already and we (customers) had been asking for RT since 2003. I'm a returning customer but i'm still shopping around until i find what i need...
I do love SF but it lacks the Real time, to be honest.
