All 5 of my Vix filters were lining up until late in the day when they dropped.
Way ahead of the curve here as I waited till eod. Uvxy and tvix are on board, waiting for tviz to confirm.
Having said that, tomorrow may be the day with a good Uvxy spike. I will know as all my filters will ring like chimes to short.
Today may have been the day to short, but better to wait.

Wanted to short $250k UVXY, but no shares😱
So shorted 500k Vxx @ 31.77, average, did it in 5 transactions.

Indeed better to wait. However...I did lower my cost basis on SSO and in the process got to my more ideal position sizing. but i did not see today coming....it's ok. in the words of gordon gekko....'money is neither made nor lost...it is merely transferred". so the transferring takes place a bit later.

I would warn that Xiv may take another little washout dip to as low as 115-116, but that will be it as it climbs to 160-165ish by May.
My toughest challenge PT., is waiting weeks for daily filters to signal then they do, and I get in too early in the day only to have them drop off. Happened yesterday, but i waited as long as I could. Not bad as I only lost a small percentage. I got in again early today but hoping things don’t change.
