We have added 3 new dividend related measures. These include:

  • annual dividend per share
  • dividend yield
  • days since last dividend

    Below are some examples demonstrating these new measures:

    Fetcher[show stocks where annual dividend is between 1.0 and 2.0
    and add column dividend {dividend}
    ]

    Fetcher[show stocks where dividend yield is between 10% and 15%
    and the 200 day slope of the close is above 0
    and add column dividend yield {yield}
    and add column since dividend {since_div}
    ]

    As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments, or if you find any bugs with this new feature.

    Thank you,

    StockFetcher.com Support

    HUH! Just stumbled across this. Done 3 years ago and the "Index" still hasn't been updated to include them. Dividends themselves aren't a big deal to me but other items (like price/sales ratio) definitely ARE. Suuuuuuuure would be nice to have the index updated to include all the bells and whistles that are available but that we all aren't necessarily aware of. BTW, the "dividends" measures aren't listed in the User Guide either. Sigh. Makes you wonder what else we can use that we don't know is in the ol' toolbox.....

    Dividends are a big deal to me especially days since last divdend. Does the represent days since the last ex-divdend date or since the last payable date?
    Below is the filter used. Either way it is not correct. On Febuary 9, the filter below returned ZIF with 0 since dividend but I checked the actual ex -dividend or payable dates using http://www.etfconnect.com

    Would please tell me what this filter is trying to tell me?

    show stocks where dividend yield is between 10% and 15%
    and the 200 day slope of the close is above 0
    and add column dividend yield {yield}
    and add column since dividend {since_div}

    show stocks where annual dividend is between 1.0 and 2.0
    and add column dividend {dividend}

    --------------------------------------
    How would you change the script to include a column that shows dividend yield (dividend/price)

    This little detail is a GEM. But Tom, please heed the advice of others in this post: more fundamental filtering options pls. And make it known on the front page.

    Hye Tom, how about adding a dividend column to the watch list column options?

    I am filtering for dividend stocks and want to use find stocks which have paid dividends within the past 90 days. For some reason I am getting garbage data back on a lot of stocks.

    Here is an example of the error for Aflac:

    Fetcher[
    close equals Ind(afl,Close)
    and volume equals Ind(afl,volume)

    add column since dividend {since_div}
    ]

    This is returning 183 right now but dividends were paid for Aflac very recently. Here is was Nasdaq reqports: http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/afl/dividend-history

    Ex/Eff Date Type Cash Amount Declaration Date Record Date Payment Date
    8/19/2013 Cash 0.35 7/30/2013 8/21/2013 9/3/2013
    5/20/2013 Cash 0.35 4/24/2013 5/22/2013 6/3/2013
    2/13/2013 Cash 0.35 2/5/2013 2/15/2013 3/1/2013

    Can you please fix the "since dividend" values? This one appears to be missing the May div.

    Also, which dividend date does StockFetcher use?

    It is 2018 and I can't find a list of Measures that include these(dividend,etc).
    Is there a comprehensive list of ALL available terms that can be used???
